Hello everyone!
Spanish Game Night is back! 🎲 We are excited to announce our second session of this academic year.
Organized by the Spanish Department, this is a community event open to everyone—from beginners to native speakers. It’s the perfect way to start the weekend, meet new people, and practice your Spanish in a relaxed setting. As always, there will be free snacks and drinks for everyone! 🥤
Feel free to bring along anyone who speaks or is interested in Spanish.
Event Details:
- When: Friday, February 6th
- Time: 18:00 – 21:00
- Where: CRT-LG.62
We’ll have all our classic favorites ready (Codenames, Dixit, Bohnanza, Vacuna-mente, etc.), plus some exciting new additions:
- That’s not a Hat: A game of memory and “gift-giving” where you might have to bluff your way through.
- In a Grove: A minimalist murder mystery game where you must identify the culprit based on limited clues.
- Fake Artist: Everyone is drawing a secret word except for the “fake” who has to blend in without getting caught.
- Spanish Naipes (Mentiroso): A classic Spanish card game where lying is a key part of the strategy!
- Decrypto: A team game of cracking codes (we didn’t get to play it last time, so now is the chance!).
Join our Volunteer Team! We are looking for enthusiastic helpers to be our “game explainers.” If you’d like to lend a hand and help others learn the rules while having fun, please send me an email at pablot@hku.hk.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
