Spanish film “An Autumn without Berlin” screening and Q&A with director/writer Lara Izagirre

One week from now we will host the second screening of our “Crossing Borders” film series and we will have the unique opportunity to have a conversation with Lara Izagirre, writer and director of “An Autumn without Berlin” (“Un otoño sin Berlín”), a Spanish film about the return home of a young girl who has to restore the broken bonds with her loved ones.

Plot: After traveling far from home in pursuit of a better future, June comes back to her hometown to try to restore broken bonds with Diego, her first love, and her father. She will try to bring back their teenage years dream of moving to Berlin. However, she will soon realize that years have changed Diego, he is now reclusive and never leaves his house.
